Aaron Tveit Bio, Life and Career:
Aaron Tveit, whose real name is Aaron Kyle Tveit, was born on October 21, 1983 in Middletown, New York. He is a well-known American actor and singer who played Frank Abagnale Jr. in the original Broadway production of Catch Me If You Can and Gabe in the hit television series Next to Normal. In Gossip Girl (2007), he played Tripp van der Bilt, and in Les Miserables, he played Enjolras (2012). Graceland (2013) and Grease Live! are two more examples (2016).
Aaron Tveit is the son of Posie and Stanley Tveit, and he was born in Middletown, Orange County, New York. Jon, his younger brother by five years, is a priest. Tveit completed his studies at Middletown High School and graduated in 2001. First year at Ithaca College, he starred as Steve in a touring production of “Rent.” After that, he went back to school for a while, only to drop out again in 2006.
The national tour of “Hairspray” was his Broadway debut, in which role he played Link Larkin. After filming the sixth episode of Next to Normal on June 6, 2009, Tveit left to begin preparing for his role as Frank Abagnale Jr. in the film Catch Me If You Can. The musical ran at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theatre from July 28 to August 16, 2009. Tveit’s second stint on Next to Normal lasted from September 7th, 2009, through January 3rd, 2010.
In August, he also starred in the Hollywood Bowl’s production of Rent directed by Neil Patrick Harris, as Roger Davis. He took part in the MCC Theater Miscast Gala in 2009 and 2010. Tveit played Frank Abagnale Jr in the Broadway production of Catch Me If You Can, beginning on April 10, 2011, and closing on September 4, 2011. Tveit played Betty Suarez’s boyfriend Zachary Boule in an episode of Ugly Betty titled “All the World’s a Stage” during this time. He had a role in Rob Epstein’s biopic Howl, which was based on the Allen Ginsberg poem of the same name and the subsequent trial that sprang from it.
Tveit played Peter Orlovsky, Ginsberg’s longterm companion, opposite James Franco. In April 21, 2010, he appeared on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as animal-loving yoga instructor Jan, who is questioned about the death of his lover.
