Ali Alexander Bio, Life, and Career:

Ali Alexander is a prominent American far-right activist, social media figure, and conspiracy theorist. He was born Ali Abdul-Razaq Akbar in the United States in 1984 or 1985, according to certain sources. Stop the Steal is a campaign that promotes a conspiracy theory, and Alexander is one of the organizers of the effort that rampant voter fraud was the primary factor that led to Joe Biden’s victory against Donald Trump in the presidential election of 2020 in the United States. He also assisted in the organization of one of the numerous protests that took place in the days leading up to the attack on the United States Capitol on January 6.

Alexander has been called a number of things, including an agent for the Republican Party, a figure associated with the far right, a right-wing provocateur, and a member of the New Right. In 2018, the New York Observer noted that Alexander “has a history of dog whistling to the nationalist fringe of the MAGA movement.” This statement was made in reference to Alexander’s rhetoric.  Alexander has collaborated with several other prominent figures associated with the far right, such as Alex Jones, Roger Stone, Jacob Wohl, and Laura Loomer.  Alexander’s rise to notoriety in right-wing politics roughly coincided with the rise to prominence of the Tea Party movement, which occurred in the late 2000s.

He went by the name Ali Akbar throughout that time period. Alexander reportedly started his career in politics in 2007 when he began working as a staffer for John McCain’s presidential campaign for the 2008 election.  Alexander founded a non-profit organization that he called the National Bloggers’ Club and eventually became the organization’s chief executive officer (CEO). On the other hand, he never bothered to register the organization with the Internal Revenue Service.  In 2014, Alexander was active in a political action committee known as the Black Conservatives Fund, which Lamar White referred to as a “mysterious” political action committee that “appeared to have largely been a proxy for former Louisiana state Sen. Elbert Guillory.”

Alexander was involved with this political action committee. During the 2015 election cycle for governor of Louisiana, Republican Jay Dardenne hired Alexander to serve as the campaign’s digital director. During the time of the presidential election in the United States in 2016, Alexander was a member of a political action committee to which Robert Mercer made a donation of sixty thousand dollars.  Alexander was also a contributor to the formation of the right-leaning website Culture, which no longer exists.

After some time had passed, he changed his name to Ali Alexander and became a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump. Conservatives in the United States are likely familiar with Alexander as a social media presence. At the beginning of 2019, he gained a lot of notoriety due to the Livestream broadcasts that he published on Periscope. In these videos, he articulated his conservative and pro-Trump beliefs. In July 2019, Alexander participated in a social media summit held at the White House. Other attendees included lawmakers as well as commentators with extreme right-wing views.  As of the month of August 2019, Alexander had more than 100,000 followers on Twitter. In 2018, Jack Dorsey had a conversation with Alexander on whether it was prudent to remove Alex Jones from Twitter.

After the conversation, Jack Dorsey stated that Alexander had “interesting points” to discuss regarding the topic. Alexander did not agree with the proposal to exclude Jones. Following the actions taken by a number of other social networks, Twitter eventually relented and banned Jones in September 2018, after having previously refused to do so. Alexander claimed that the reason he was temporarily banned from Twitter in January 2019 was because of the tweets he had written directed at Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “Marxist, if you were to get anywhere near me, I would knock you down quite literally. If I were you, I’d phone 911 and have someone come and get your body. Have a blessed day on Friday!” Later on that same day, his prohibition was lifted. After the attack on the United States Capitol building in January 2021, both Alexander and the Twitter account used for the Stop the Steal campaign were barred from using the social media platform.

Alexander also utilized the alternative technology service known as Parler, on which he had a following of 41,000 users prior to the shutdown of Parler on January 11, 2021. In February 2021, Alexander started a fundraising campaign for the construction of a “MAGA mega-city” and another planned town in South America that would be called the “City of Alexander.” This campaign was broadcast live on Trovo.  In addition to this, he declared that he would organize additional Stop the Steal protests and that he was producing “tools of production and instruments of mayhem.”

He also called for the end of freedom of the press, referring to it and other media outlets as “systems that control us,” and he issued a challenge to the authorities, saying he would fight them if they attempted to arrest him. Lydia Dews, who was born to a Christian African-American mother and a Muslim father, is the subject of this article.  Who, according to him, was a student on exchange from the United Arab Emirates who came from a “prominent family.”  In Fort Worth, Texas, his mother brought him up on her own after his father abandoned the family when he was just two years old. At Fossil Ridge High School, where he graduated, he was known as a “conservative political junkie,” according to his own description.  According to Alexander, before going to the University of North Texas, he received his education at Criswell College in Dallas, which is a Southern Baptist school of higher learning. He had the intention of becoming a minister when he was there. In a later interview, Alexander revealed that he had come to the realization that “I just can’t do this whole college thing.”
