Greenwald started working on the television show Legion as a scriptwriter in 2016, and the show is about superheroes. In 2018, USA Network picked up Greenwald and Sam Esmail’s adaptation of the book Briarpatch for a series of episodes to air on the network. On the show, which stars Rosario Dawson, Greenwald serves in two capacities: as a writer and as an executive producer.
