While Kajlich was still in her teens when she began her career as a professional ballerina with the “Olympic Ballet Theatre” in Edmonds, Washington, she ended up playing prominent roles in several shows, including “The Swan,” “The Nutcracker,” and “The River.” This lovely young lady’s very first foray into the world of acting was a brief appearance in a commercial, which served as her introduction to the industry.
She made her debut in the world of big-screen films with a little part as a Coffee Girl in the critically acclaimed and commercially successful film ’10 Things I Hate About You (1999). This was followed by another small role in the film ‘This Is the Disk-O-Boyz’ (1999). Both of these films were released in 1999. In addition, she has appeared as a guest star or in a cameo capacity on episodes of television shows such as “Freaks and Geeks” (2000) and “Boston Public” (2000-2001).
However, as the effects of the financial recession became more apparent, Kajlich started thinking about pursuing a different line of work. She was on the verge of making a decision to move back to Seattle when she was offered the character of Carver as a replacement in the American adolescent comedy film “Bring It On,” which had its release date set for August 25, 2000. After this, there was no turning back for the sizzling diva, who went on to perform in a variety of movies, TV movies, and series in the years that followed.
She took over for Jacinda Barrett in the leading role of Sara Moyer in the eighth installment of the Halloween film series, which was named ‘Halloween: Resurrection’ and was released on July 12, 2002. The movie included dubbed versions of her screams. Moving forward, she continued to be a part of other notable films such as the American action comedy ’30 Minutes or Less’ (2011), in which she played a lap dancer named Juicy, who is befriended by one of the main characters of the film named Dwayne; and the American thriller ‘Dark Was the Night’ (2014), in which she played the starring role of Susan Shields.
