Christopher Ryan Bio, Life, and Career:

Christopher Ryan is a well-known American novelist who was born on February 13, 1962. He is well known for his work as a co-author of the book Sex at Dawn (2010).In 1984, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and American literature. Twenty years later, he earned a Master of Arts and a Doctor of Philosophy in psychology from Saybrook University, which is an accredited hybrid low-residency/online learning program situated in San Francisco.

His master’s thesis looked at differences in personality traits between working fashion models and members of the general population on a number of specialized criteria.  During his Ph.D. dissertation, he investigated the prehistoric roots of human sexuality. He was advised by the humanistic psychologist Stanley Krippner, and Sabrina Zirkel and Jürgen W. Kremer served as additional committee members.

Ryan just delivered a talk at TED with the subject, “Are we designed to be sexual omnivores?” Beginning in February 2013, Dr. Christopher Ryan began contributing to Psychology Today and hosting a popular podcast titled Tangentially Speaking with Dr. Christopher Ryan.
