Dan McCoy Bio, Life, and Career:

Dan McCoy is an American comedian who was born in 1978. He is best known for his work as a writer for the news satire program The Daily Show, for which he won an Emmy. He is the producer as well as a co-host of the movie podcast known as The Flop House, which he co-hosts with comedian and bar owner Stuart Wellington as well as former head writer for The Daily Show Elliott Kalan.  He is the creator and co-star (along with Daily Show writer Matt Koff) of the animated web series 9 AM Meeting, which won an MTV development deal at the 2010 New York Television Festival.  9 AM Meeting was about a group of people who get together every morning to have a meeting. Jerry McCoy, McCoy’s father, is a professor emeritus at Eureka College, where McCoy attended.

Back then, almost no one was participating in the podcast scene despite the fact that there was a low barrier to entry. Consequently, I reasoned that perhaps this will develop into something more significant in the future. It is the one and only time in my life that I have had sufficient foresight to actually anticipate a trend. I believe you were one of the first people to start a podcast about bad movies, right?
