Danielle Schneider Bio, Life, and Career:
Danielle Caroline Schneider (born January 1, 1975) is an American actress, writer, and improvisational comedian who performs at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. is a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She was a co-creator of the reality TV parody series The Hotwives, which aired on Hulu, and she also starred in the series. Currently, she is one of the co-hosts of the Bitch Sesh podcast, which is produced by Earwolf. Schneider was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but moved with his family to Boca Raton, Florida, when he was 13 years old. She attended Spanish River Community High School and received her diploma there in 1993. She received her degree in theatre from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
Schneider was a frequent contributor to the panel discussions that took place on Best Week Ever and other VH1 commentary programs. She has appeared on Fox’s My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss as a Paris Hilton-like debutante; she also starred in Trio’s The Pop Culture Round-Up: White Noise and Comedy Central’s Contest Searchlight with Denis Leary; she was a cast member of VH1’s prank show Sledgehammer; she guest-starred on NBC’s Happy Family and Comedy Central’s Crossballs; and she starred in Trio’s The Pop Culture Round- Schneider has provided the voices for a variety of characters on MTV’s Celebrity Deathmatch and the PBS Kids GO! series WordGirl. He has also made an appearance on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. In 2010, she also had a recurring role as Krista in the improvised comedy series Players, which aired on Spike TV.
The Tisch School of the Arts at New York University is where Schneider received his education. At the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB) in New York City and Los Angeles, where she was a member of one of the UCB’s original improvisational comedy troupes called Respecto Montalban, she has worked as both a performer and a teacher over the course of her career. Eye Candy, a two-woman sketch show that she and her creative partner Dannah Phirman created and starred in, was chosen to perform at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, in 2002. Eye Candy was produced by HBO. Since then, she has worked with Phirman on other sketch shows at the UCB in Los Angeles, such as Let’s Get Awkward and Dead Heiresses. Additionally, a pilot version of Dead Heiresses was created for Comedy Central in the year 2007.
Schneider and Phirman are currently working on scripts for the upcoming movies Catfight for New Line Cinema and Boys Are Stupid, Throw Rocks at Them for Universal. They penned the screenplay for the sequel Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 and have also written the screenplay for Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2. Schneider and Phirman wrote for the NBC sitcoms Marry Me and Telenovela in addition to creating and starring in the reality TV parody series The Hotwives, which is available on Hulu.
In addition, Schneider played the recurring character of Cassie on the television show Marry Me. Both It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and the sitcom I’m Sorry, which airs on TruTV, had Schneider and Phirman working as writers and producers during the 2017 season. Additionally, Schneider contributed to the third season of the comedy series Playing House, which aired on the USA Network. Schneider and Casey Wilson started hosting the Earwolf podcast Bitch Sesh on December 2, 2015. During each episode, they and a guest have comedic discussions about the previous night’s episode of The Real Housewives, as well as other topics related to the Bravo channel.
