Esther Hicks Bio, Life, and Career:

Esther Hicks is an American author, channeler, and motivational speaker. Her birth date is March 5, 1948, and her maiden name was Weaver. She has appeared in the original version of the film The Secret, which was released in 2006, co-written nine books with her late husband Jerry Hicks, delivered numerous seminars on the law of attraction with Abraham-Hicks Publications, and is the co-author of nine books with Jerry Hicks. According to Esther Hicks, the books written by her and her husband, including the series titled “The Law of Attraction,” were “translated from a group of non-physical entities called Abraham.” Hicks says that she is connecting with “infinite intelligence” through the work that she is doing.

She first met Jerry Hicks 1976, who was a prosperous Amway representative at the time; they wed in 1980 after dating for four years. Jerry Hicks spent the first two years of his life as an acrobat in a Cuban circus. Beginning in 1948, he went on the road for the next 20 years as a musician, master of ceremonies, and comic. His early career was spent in Cuba. On November 18, 2011, Jerry Hicks lost his battle with cancer.

If not, there will always be another, along with this, this, this, and this.” This letter does not criticize Byrne in any way; rather, it explains why Hicks is no longer featured in The Secret.

Since then, Hicks has uploaded a video to YouTube in which she provides a more in-depth explanation of her uneasiness with The Secret and, ultimately, her choice to terminate her involvement with the project.[9]In September of 2004, Hay House Inc. released the book authored by the Hicks titled “Ask and it is Given.” Since the publication of that book, they have also written The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent (which was released in January 2006).
