Floyd Mayweather, Jr., also known as Money Mayweather or Pretty Boy, is a former professional boxer from Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. He is considered one of the best fighters of all time based on pound-for-pound performance. Mayweather’s unmarked face earned him the moniker “Pretty Boy” during his amateur career. Floyd Mayweather Career

Mayweather announced his retirement from boxing in June of that year, just months before his scheduled rematch with De La Hoya. The “retirement” was expected to last only a few months, but Mayweather fought again in September 2009 against Juan Manuel Márquez, a natural lightweight and fan favorite who moved up two divisions to accept the fight.
