Freddie Prinze Jr. Bio, Life, and Career:

Frederick James Prinze Jr. is an American actor, television and film producer, and screenwriter. He was born on March 8, 1976, in the United States. He is best known for his roles in the films I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) and its sequel I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998), She’s All That (1999), Summer Catch (2001), Scooby-Doo (2002), and its sequel Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004), among others (2004). In addition, Prinze has portrayed recurring and leading characters on a number of popular television shows, such as Friends (2002), Boston Legal (2004), Freddie (2005–2006), and 24. (2010). In the Star Wars Rebels series on Disney XD, he provided the voice of Kanan Jarrus. The comedian and actor Freddie Prinze do not have any other children besides himself.

She’s All That (1999), the romantic comedy in which he made his debut as a leading man, brought in $63 million at the domestic box office. After that, he played leading roles in films such as Wing Commander (1999), Down to You (2000), Boys and Girls (2000), Head over Heels (2001), and Summer Catch (2001), the majority of which were not well received by critics and only achieved a moderate amount of success at the box office. In the computer-animated film Shark Bait, which was released in 2006, he provided his voice for the character of Pi. In March 2019, Prinze was originally chosen for the role of Carson Drew, Nancy Drew’s father, in the mystery pilot for The CW titled Nancy Drew. However, he was later replaced by Scott Wolf. In the film adaptation of the Kim Possible series titled Kim Possible: A Sitch in Time, he also provided his voice for the future versions of Tim and Jim Possible. On September 1, 2002, while vacationing in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, Prinze tied the knot with actress Sarah Michelle Gellar.

The two first crossed paths on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), where they were both working. They began dating the following year, and a year later, in April 2001, they became engaged.
