Hannibal Amir Buress is a comedian, actor, rapper, producer, and writer from the United States. He was born on February 4, 1983, and goes by the stage name BURR-is. In 2002, he began his stand-up comedy career while he was still a student at Southern Illinois University. From 2012 through 2020, he starred on The Eric Andre Show, which aired on Adult Swim. From 2014 until 2019, he made appearances on Broad City, which aired on Comedy Central. During one of his stand-up routines, he is also famous for bringing the issue of Bill Cosby’s history of sexual misconduct with women back into the public eye.
