Jon Miller birth in 11 October 1951 (age 71 years). San Francisco, California, United States. Miller is not just an experienced broadcaster of more than 20 years who has won several awards but also the play-by-play commentator for ESPN’s telecasts of Sunday Night Baseball. Before joining the San Francisco Giants in 1997, Miller spent 14 years as a broadcaster for the Baltimore Orioles, where he became famous for his lyrical game descriptions, golden voice, and fantastic sense of humor. The outstanding announcer worked for the Texas Rangers for two seasons (1978-79) and the Boston Red Sox for three seasons (1980-82) before joining the Baltimore Orioles in 1983. Before that, he was with the Boston Red Sox. Miller joined ESPN after working for NBC-TV for four years, between 1986 and 1989.
During that time, he sometimes called a Game of the Week with either Tony Kubek or Joe Garagiola—his play-by-play work at ESPN earned him two ACE awards, which are considered the most prestigious honors in the field of cable television, during his 16-year employment with the company. He was nominated for an ACE award six times during that period, and he won the award in 1991 and 1996. He offered humanitarian assistance to more than 150,000 Georgians displaced due to Russian military activity in 2008. In addition to his job as the senior logistical Commander in Afghanistan, Jon also served in this capacity in Georgia in 2008.
In both domestic and international senior roles within the aerospace sector at L-3 Communications, Honeywell, and Motorola (now General Dynamics), as well as a European-based company called T Miller received his degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, despite having been born in Washington, District of Columbia, and having spent his childhood in Bethesda, Maryland.
