The stage show ran from 2003 to 2006 in New York and Los Angeles, and it was an official selection at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, in 2005. Since then, Raphael and Wilson have expanded their comedic partnership into an active writing career in film and television. They co-wrote the screenplay for the comedy Bride Wars, in which they also appeared in supporting roles, and it was their first screenplay together. Raphael is an actress who has appeared in both movies and television shows. Some of the shows she has guest-starred on include Party Down, Happy Endings, New Girl, and Lady Dynamite.
In addition to appearing in movies like “Long Shot” and “Blockers.” In the improvised comedy series Players, which aired on Spike TV in 2010, Raphael had a co-starring role as Barb. She also starred alongside Ken Marino and Michael Ian Black in all three seasons of the web series Burning Love, which ran for an entire year. In their most recent collaboration, they wrote and starred in the racy female buddy comedy titled Ass Backwards. The film also features Alicia Silverstone, Jon Cryer, Vincent D’Onofrio, Paul Scheer, and Bob Odenkirk in supporting roles.
On January 21, 2013, the movie was shown for the first time at the Sundance Film Festival. It was reported in 2013 that Raphael and Wilson were working on a second film to star in together, which was being produced by the company Gary Sanchez Productions, which was founded by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. In February of 2010, Raphael became a member of the Westside Theatre in Manhattan’s rotating cast for the Off-Broadway play Love, Loss, and What I Wore, which was written by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron.
