Kirsten Haglund and who was born on September 14, 1988, is an activist for eating disorder awareness, pundit, and public speaker. She is also the president of the Kirsten Haglund Foundation. She won the title of Miss America in 2008. When Haglund was twelve years old, she uprooted her life and relocated to Pennsylvania, where she joined the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet School and was hosted by a local family. After receiving his diploma from Walled Lake Western High School in 2006, Haglund attended the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, Ohio, for the duration of one academic year in order to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre.
