Luis Fonsi Bio, Life, and Career:
Luis Fonsi was born on April 15, 1978, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to his parents, Alfonso Rodrguez and Delia ‘Tata’ López-Cepero. Luis Alfonso Rodrguez López-Cepero, better known by his stage name Luis Fonsi, is a Puerto Rican singer and composer who rose to fame with his version of the Spanish song “Despacito.” The song has become a worldwide phenomenon. He was awarded four Latin Grammys for the song’s success.
Since he was a child, he has had a strong interest in music, and he has known all along that he is destined to be a singer. When he was a little boy, he became a member of the children’s chorus in the area. After that, he pursued his interest in music by receiving a scholarship to attend the Florida State University School of Music. His participation in the university’s choir allowed him to tour and give performances in a variety of countries.
