Melissa Roxburgh Bio, Life, and Career:

Melissa Roxburgh is a Canadian and American actress who was born on December 10th, 1992 in both countries. She is best known for her roles in the films Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (2011) and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days (2012), Supernatural (2014), The Marine 4: Moving Target (2015), Star Trek Beyond (2016), Valor (2017–2018), and Mindcage (2022). Additionally, she plays the role of Michaela Stone in the NBC/Netflix science fiction drama series Manifest (2018–2023). She is the middle child of four, with two older sisters (Kristie and Ashley) and one younger brother (Matt). Roxburgh is the second oldest of the four.

Her father, Cam, is a minister in Canada, and her mother, Shelley Walpole, is a former professional tennis player in the United Kingdom. Shelley Walpole is also a retired tennis player. After making the move from the United States to Canada, her parents established a church in the city of Vancouver. Following his graduation from high school, Roxburgh moved to Vancouver to pursue a career in acting. Roxburgh attended the William Esper Studio and graduated from there.

She was cast in the part of Rachel in the film Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, which was her first major role. She went on to star in the second sequel of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, titled Dog Days, although this time she played the role of Heather Hills, a completely different character.
