Michael Morell Bio, Life, and Career:

Michael Morell, a former CIA acting director, and deputy director is now a Distinguished Visiting Professor at George Mason University’s Michael Hayden Center. With a wealth of experience in intelligence and foreign policy, he is one of the country’s top national security experts and has been at the forefront of the United States’ fight against terrorism, efforts to prevent the spread of WMD, and reactions to shifting power dynamics, such as the rise of China, a revanchist Russia, and the cyber threat.

During his 33 years at the CIA, Morell spent the last three and a half as deputy director, overseeing day-to-day operations and analysis, representing the agency before the White House and Congress, and fostering ties with intelligence services and foreign governments.
