Mike Stud Bio, Life, and Career:

Michael Francis Seander, better known by his stage name Mike (stylized as Mike. ; formerly known as Mike Stud), is a hip-hop recording artist from the United States. Seander was born on October 30, 1988. The publication of his tune “College Humor,” which he humorously recorded on GarageBand while he was a relief pitcher at Duke University, brought him his first fame in the world of music. “College Humor” has since gone on to become one of the most downloaded songs on the internet. Seander received his diploma from St. Raphael Academy, which is located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, in the year 2006.

His height of 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 meters) and his accomplishments in both baseball and basketball earned him the title of Gatorade Player of the Year in Rhode Island in 2006, which enabled him to receive an athletic scholarship to attend Duke University.[source: missing citation] As a senior in basketball, Seander averaged 21 points and 7 rebounds per game, which was good enough to earn him a spot on the second team of all-state players.

As a junior, he pitched for the Saints and finished with a record of 8-2, a 0.72 earned run average, and 88 strikeouts. After finishing his senior year with a record of 9-2, an earned run average of 0.91, and 107 strikeouts, he was honored with the Gatorade Player of the Year award in Rhode Island as well as the Louisville Slugger Player of the Year award in the state.

After receiving his diploma, Seander enrolled at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, with the intention of playing baseball there. During his time at Duke University, he played on the baseball team with current Chicago Cubs pitcher Marcus Stroman, who is currently regarded as Seander’s closest buddy by the majority of people.

As a true freshman on the team, he was given the role of closer. In 28 total appearances, Seander posted a 1.61 earned run average, which is the lowest mark ever achieved by a Duke baseball player.

During that particular season in the ACC, those 9 saves were good for fourth place, which was good enough to make them the fifth-best total in school history. Seander was honored with a spot on the Louisville Slugger and Rivals.com Freshman All-American teams after the conclusion of the season. Additionally, the native of Rhode Island worked for the Newport Gulls of the NECBL during the summer of 2007 as the closer for their team.

After his sophomore year, Seander began having arm problems, which eventually led to his needing surgery called the Tommy John procedure. Seander graduated from Duke University with a grade point average of 3.4 and was named to the All-ACC Honor Roll. This accomplishment came despite the fact that he was sidelined for the entirety of the 2009 season recovering from surgery.

He made the decision to attend Georgetown University in Washington, District of Columbia, for the final year of his collegiate eligibility. As a senior with the Hoyas, he participated in nine games, tossed 8.2 innings, and recorded nine strikeouts. He also received a graduate degree in sports management. In order to pass the time while he was recuperating from surgery, Stud turned to music.

A music video for “College Humor” was released by Stud in the month of December 2010. According to Stud, the song was originally intended to be a joke for him and his fellow baseball players. As of April 2021, the video has received more than 2.5 million views since it was first made available online. After the success of his last single in March, Stud released a new song titled “In This Life” that contained a verse from a rapper from the West Coast.

Stud’s debut mixtape, titled “A Toast to Tommy,” was published in October 2011, and it includes all three of his big singles.[source: missing citation] Another mixtape titled Click was released by Stud in the month of August. This one was a joint effort with fellow hip-hop artist Huey Mack.

Mike’s most recent television appearance was on an episode of This Is Mike Stud, which aired on the Esquire Network. During his most recent Back2YouTour, he and his crew are followed by the cameras of this show. The first episode of the show aired on Tuesday, June 21, 2016.

In 2017, Stud contributed to the song “To the Grave” by American singer-songwriter Bea Miller. The track can be found on Miller’s EP titled Chapter Three: Yellow as well as her second studio album titled Aurora.

The fourth studio album by Stud, titled 4TheHomies, was released on November 12, 2018, and featured guest appearances from Goody Grace and Vory. The album contained a total of 23 tracks. According to the tweet that is posted at the top of Stud’s profile, the record holds a very important place in his heart.

Yesterday evening, I made available a brand-new project. 23 songs that are essentially a musical representation of the past two years of my life. Every song in my home was composed by me. This sh*t couldn’t possibly be any more about me. I really hope that you guys enjoy listening to it as much as we did having fun producing it.

In 2018, Stud kicked off what he called the Final Mike Stud Tour, prompting many of his followers to believe that it was the artist’s final tour ever. However, he elucidated this by stating that the only thing he was doing is changing his stage name to “Mike” after the tour was over.
