The Nigeria Entertainment Awards presented Baddest Guy Ever Liveth with the trophy for Best Album of the Year in 2014. The City People Entertainment Awards presented Baddest Guy Ever Liveth with a nomination for Rap Album of the Year in 2014. At the 2014 Headies, it took home both the award for Best Rap Album and Album of the Year.
There were rumors circulating in May 2013 that Olamide had inked a recording contract with DB Records. Olamide came to Twitter to disprove the rumors that were circulating. Toolz stated that it was “too late” for anyone to sign him during an interview that took place on the program The Juice that is shown on NdaniTV.Olamide announced the release of his fourth studio album, titled Street OT, on November 14, 2014, via YBNL Nation.
This album is the follow-up to his Baddest Guy Ever Liveth album, which was released in 2013. Street OT was preceded by the singles “Story for the Gods” and “Goons Mi,” and it featured cameos from Pasuma, Lil Kesh, Chinko Ekun, Phyno, Don Jazzy, and Reminisce, among others.
