Patrick Ewing Bio, Life and Career:

Patrick Aloysius Ewing Sr., who was born in Jamaica on August 5, 1962, is a Jamaican-American basketball coach and a former professional player. He was most recently the coach of the men’s basketball team at Georgetown University. After spending the majority of his playing career as the starting center for the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA), he finished his career with brief spells with the Seattle SuperSonics and the Orlando Magic. He is considered one of the all-time greats in the history of the NBA. Ewing is widely considered to be one of the best centers of all time. He was a significant contributor to the success of the New York Knicks in the 1990s.
