Randy Orton Bio, Life, and Career:

Born on April 1, 1980, Randal Keith Randy Orton is an American professional wrestler and actor who is best known to audiences interested in sports entertainment for his career signed with WWE. Orton was born in the United States. Orton was the child of Bob Orton, Jr. and Elaine, who were married at the time of his birth in Knoxville, Tennessee.

He is the grandson of Bob Orton, Sr., a professional wrestler, and the nephew of Barry Orton, a wrestler-turned-musician. Both of Randy’s younger siblings are named Rebecca and Nate, and Nathan is Randy’s younger brother. As he was growing up, his parents tried to dissuade him from pursuing a career in professional wrestling because of the significant amount of time that he would have to spend away from his family and friends. Despite this, Orton continued to compete in amateur bouts of wrestling when he was a student at Hazelwood Central High School.

After receiving his diploma from high school in 1998, Orton immediately enlisted in the Marine Corps of the United States of America. In spite of this, Orton was given a Bad Conduct Discharge (BCD) in the year 1999 for disregarding a direct order from a commanding officer as well as for twice going missing in action. Following a brief stint in the military, Orton decided to pursue a career in professional wrestling instead. Orton started his training in the year 2000 when he was 20 years old, and it continued into the following year, 2001. He competed as a wrestler in regional training events held in St. Louis, where his father and uncle had established professional connections. Also, Orton developed his skills as a referee for wrestling matches.

In the year 2001, Orton signed up with the organization that was once known as the World Wrestling Federation and started training with the instructional program that was known as Ohio Valley Wrestling. At WrestleMania X8 (2002) Fan Axxess, Orton made his debut the following year, in 2002, and won his first match by defeating Tommy Dreamer. In the year 2002, Randy Orton began to see an increase in the number of televised match opportunities as well as screen time for promotional appearances.

The following year, in 2004, after the company renamed itself as the WWE, Randy Orton quickly enhanced his presence on the WWE roster when he joined the heel stable known as Evolution, fronted by Paul Levesque. This allowed him to more effectively compete against the other heel wrestlers on the WWE roster (known in-ring as Triple H). Throughout the course of Evolution, Orton won his first singles championship by claiming the WWE Intercontinental Title by virtue of a victory over Rob Van Dam at WWE Armageddon (2003).

The year after that, Orton won his second title by claiming victory over Summerslam, a wrestler who was very popular with the fans (2004). At this point, Orton had already started to become estranged from the other members of Evolution, and he proceeded to embark on a solo career. After he had established his reputation as the “Legend Killer,” Randy Orton set out on a mission to eliminate all of the wrestling legends that the WWE has to offer. After telling WWE fans that he would break Undertaker’s 12-0 undefeated WrestleMania record, his crusade came to a cryptic conclusion when he was defeated by The Phenom, The Undertaker (Mark Calaway), at WrestleMania 21 (2005). His defeat marked a cryptic ending to his quest.

As Randy Orton’s career progressed in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), he amassed a total of eight victories for the WWE Title and became the final person to hold the World Heavyweight Championship. In the latter part of the 2000s, Randy Orton joined forces with Adam Copeland, better known as Edge, to form a tag team known as Team Rated RKO. The name of the team was a play on Edge’s moniker as the Rated R Superstar and Randy’s finishing move, which was called the RKO.

They were the first and only people to ever win the World Tag Team Championship before John Cena and Shawn Michaels took it away from them for the final time. Orton established his own stable in the early 2010s under the name Legacy. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. were the other members of this stable. After that, Orton went back to his eccentric ways and became known as “The Apex Predator” and “The Viper.” This contributed to an increase in his anger and killing instinct while he was competing in the wrestling ring.

In addition to his career in wrestling, Orton has also dabbled in acting. It was originally planned for him to star in WWE-produced film titles such as The Marine 2 (2009), but he was injured at the time, and Ted DiBiase Jr. was cast in the starring part instead. As he was being considered for the third sequel to The Marine, due to his experience with the United States Marine Corps, he was eliminated from consideration for the role, and Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin was granted the lead instead.

Orton made his debut in the film industry in 2011 with the role of the father of a school bully in the movie That’s What I Am (2011). His subsequent film role was the lead role in 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded (2013), and he later went on to play the lead character in The Condemned 2 (2015) and make an appearance in Countdown (2016). In the year 2016, Orton was cast in a supplementary role in the television series Shooter, an action thriller (2016).
