Raquel Baldelomar is a Bolivian-American businesswoman, author, journalist, and host of the podcast The Mega Podcast, which can be seen on YouTube. Baldelomar was born on July 15, 1979, in the United States. Born in Bolivia, Baldelomar moved to the United States in 1989, when he was just 10 years old, settling in the state of Texas. Her ancestry may be traced back to both Bolivia and the United States. Baldelomar spent his childhood years in the city of Fort Worth, Texas. In 2001, Baldelomar completed the Canfield Business Honors Program at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin and received a bachelor’s degree in finance as a result of his participation in the program.

Baldelomar started her career in 2001 working for JP Morgan Private Bank as a portfolio manager for private equity investments. She held the position of a financial analyst at J.P. Morgan for a period of two years. After quitting her position in corporate finance, she went on to establish Quaintise in 2003 as a marketing and branding business catering to the healthcare, life sciences, and wellness industries. In 2007, she became an investor for Luxury Travel Magazine with the intention of assisting her neighbor Christine Gray in the growth of the business that she had created.
