Rosemary Baker, better known by her stage name, Rosebud Baker, was born in the United States on March 16, 1985. Baker is a comedian, actress, and writer. She is recognised for her gloomy humour, which is based on personal stories and is frequently satirical. She lives in New York City. In 2010, she had an appearance on the first season of the reality television series Girls Who Like Boys, which airs on the Sundance Channel. At the time, she was working as an actress in off-Broadway productions and in small films. After then, she started making appearances as a recurring character on the Hulu sitcom Life & Beth (2022–present).

In 2014, Baker began her career as a stand-up comedian by doing performances at open mics located all across New York City. Whiskey Fists, her first stand-up comedy special, was broadcast for the first time on Comedy Central in 2021. In 2021, she began working as a writer for the HBO Max television series That Damn Michael Che, and the following year, in 2022, she began working for Saturday Night Live.
