Sal Iacono Bio, Life and Career:

Sal Iacono is an American comedian, writer, and game show host. He was born on July 5, 1971, and is also known by his stage name, Cousin Sal. He is best recognized for his roles on the television shows The Man Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, both of which air late at night. Cousin Sal is a moniker given to him due to the fact that he is Jimmy Kimmel’s cousin. Iacono was the son of Fran Iacono and Vincent Iacono and was born in Brooklyn.

After completing his high school education at Elwood-John Glenn in 1989, he went on to study public justice at SUNY Oswego and finished with a degree in 1993. After that, he pursued a career in law and attended Touro Law Center in Huntington, New York, located on Long Island. He earned his Juris Doctor degree in the year 1996. a career in the television industry.

Iacono made his debut as a television writer on the Fox Sports program Sports Geniuses,a sports-oriented game show hosted by Matt Vasgersian on which Sal also performed on a nightly basis in a trivia challenge. This was Iacono’s first excursion into the world of television writing. After that, he became a member of the writing team for The Man Show, which is shown on Comedy Central and is hosted by Adam Carolla and Jimmy Kimmel, who is Iacono’s cousin.  In 2002, Iacono began appearing alongside Kimmel in the weekly forecasting sketches that he did on Fox NFL Sunday. The match was taped on Friday Night SmackDown! in Los Angeles on June 3, 2008, and took place there. The match was won by Sal, who was cheered on by Kimmel and Piper as they entered the ring. Iacono appears as a frequent guest on the podcast hosted by Bill Simmons.
