Tay Iwar Bio, Life, and Career:

Tay Iwar is the stage name of Nigerian musician Austin Iornongu Iwar, who was born on June 9, 1997. He is a neo-soul singer, songwriter, record producer, composer, and sound engineer. Iwar inked a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music in 2022, following the signing of a license arrangement with Soulection in the previous year (2018). In addition to being a pioneer of the Alté music genre, he is a co-founder of the Bantu Collective along with his brothers Suté Iwar and Terna Iwar.

He made his debut in the music industry with the release of the critically acclaimed mixtape album Passport, which garnered him a nomination for the Choice Mixtape/EP category of the 3rd and 4th editions of the Nigerian Teens Choice Awards, held in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
