Victoria Baldesarra Bio, Life, and Career:
Victoria Baldesarra was born on 28 July 1998 in Canada. Her well-to-do parents decided that enrolling her in a dance school would be the best way to help her channel her boundless vitality and burn off all of that extra energy because she was much too lively. Therefore, they began giving her dance lessons when she was just shy of three years old.
As a result of the opening of a branch of the Joanne Chapman School of Dance (JCSOD) in Victoria’s hometown of Bolton, which is located in the Caledon region of the Greater Toronto Area in 2004, she was able to study dance under the direction of Frank and Melissa Giorgio, who have won numerous awards for their teaching. Today, Baldesarra is recognized all over the world for her performance as Michelle in the television series ‘The Next Step,’ which is about a dance studio.
She is a phenomenon among young women between the ages of 5 and 20, as evidenced by the fact that she has more than 400,000 fans and followers across all social media networks. Victoria has recently graduated from high school and is very enthusiastic about continuing her education at the university level in the fields of kinesiology (the study of the mechanics of bodily movements) and health sciences. She also has a cat that she adores and calls Mia, and she is an animal advocate.
Because she started dancing at a young age, Victoria is a flexible dancer thanks to the training she received at her dance school. At the third annual dance awards, which were held in New York and were organized by Break the Floor Productions, the coveted “Studio of the Year” prize was awarded to the Bolton branch of JCSOD in 2013. The judges were looking for the most varied studio, and Frank and Melissa teach their students just about everything, from hip-hop to jazz to ballet, the complete gamut.
This led the judges to award the school with the prize, which is considered to be the equivalent of the Oscars of dance honors. Even though Victoria did not take home any individual honors, she was a member of the award-winning team that was recognized at the same event.
Earlier, in 2010, she competed as a member of the Junior Canadian Show Dance Team at the IDO World Show Dance Championships, which were held in Riesa, Germany. She was awarded a bronze medal for her performance. It wasn’t until 2011 that she received her first audition invitation from the Family Channel in Canada.
Finally, in 2013, she was selected for the role of Michelle in the television series “The Next Step,” which was shown on the Family Channel and made its debut on March 8, 2013. The number of viewers for the premiere exceeded one million, making it the show that has drawn the greatest audience out of all of the ongoing series on the channel.
Since then, Vic has not given the incident another thought, and the show is currently airing its third season. Family Channel has begun broadcasting an additional serial called “Lost & Found Music Studios” as a spin-off. Victoria is a cast member in this new series.
The first episode of the series aired in December of 2015. In addition to that, she appears in the documentary titled “The Next Step Live: The Movie,” in which she plays the role of herself. Since February 2016, the cast of “The Next Step” has been on a worldwide tour known as the Wild Rhythm Tour. This tour has taken them to Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, and Portugal. According to the reports, all of the tickets for the tour’s stops have already been purchased in their whole.
Victoria is unique among dancers because of the great energy she brings to her performances and the versatility she possesses. She has been required to perform on television as a dancer taking part in a number of different competitions, which is largely responsible for the positive reception she has received as an actress. She stated this during an interview in 2013 with her hometown newspaper, the Caledon Enterprise.
“The whole competition aspect of the show is very similar,” she said at the time. “Every challenge that we go through on The Next Step is very comparable to the challenges that I go through in my life as a competitive dancer.” When she starts playing completely new kinds of roles in which, for example, she is not a dancer, then is when her acting abilities will be put to the true test.
