Ana Navarro Bio, Life and Career:

Ana Violeta Navarro-Cárdenas was born on December 28, 1971, and her birth name was Navarro Flores is a political commentator and strategist who is of Nicaraguan and American descent. She has made appearances on a number of different television programs and news channels, including CNN, CNN en Espanol, ABC News, and Telemundo, among others.

In addition to that, she is a co-host on the daytime chat show The View, for which she has received Emmy Award nominations. She identifies with the Republican Party as her political affiliation. Navarro was born in Nicaragua in 1971 to a family that owned land, and her father, José Augusto Navarro Flores, was a former Minister of Agriculture under the administration of Enrique Bolaos Geyer.  Navarro is the daughter of Violeta Flores López and José Augusto Navarro Flores.

In 1980, as a result of the political unrest in Nicaragua, she and her family emigrated to the United States, while her father remained in Nicaragua to continue his involvement with the Contras in their war against the Sandinista government. She later stated that the fact that then-President Ronald Reagan of the United States supported the Contras is what made her a Republican for life.

Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart is a private Catholic college preparatory day school for girls located in the neighborhood of Coconut Grove in Miami. Navarro attended this school. She graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the St. Thomas University School of Law in the year 1997.
