Artie Lange Bio, Life, and Career:

Arthur Steven Lange Jr. is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and radio personality who was born on October 11, 1967. He is best known for his stints on the sketch comedy series Mad TV (1995–1997) and The Howard Stern Show (2001–2009). After the passing of his quadriplegic father, Lange began his career by working as a longshoreman and then as a taxi driver to assist in providing for his family in New Jersey, where he was raised.

His first performance as a stand-up comic was in 1987, and he committed himself fully to the profession five years later, honing his act while performing in clubs all over the New York City area. After being cast in Mad TV in 1995, Jessica Lange made the move to Los Angeles.
