Faouzia Bio, Life, and Career:

Moroccan-Canadian singer-songwriter and musician Faouzia Ouihya (Arabic: Fawziya Uwiya; born July 5, 2000), better known by her mononymous stage name Faouzia, is best known for her song “Tears Of Gold.” She was born in Morocco, but she came to Canada with her family when she was a little child. During that time period, she became proficient in a number of instruments and began writing the initial drafts of her musical compositions.

Before she launched her first extended play (EP), titled Stripped, in August of 2020, she initially made her name in the music industry by releasing a number of singles and working closely with a large number of performers on vocals and lyrics. Faouzia Ouihya was born in Casablanca, Morocco, but she moved to Canada with her family when she was just one year old. She speaks English and French as well. in the age of fifteen, she took home the top prizes in the 2015 La Chicane Éléctrique competition, including Song of the Year, the Audience Award, and the Grand Prix.

She started uploading her original songs as well as other cover versions to YouTube, which eventually led to her signing a deal with Paradigm Talent Agency.
