Kyedae Shymko Bio, Life, and Career:

Kyedae Alicia Shymko is a Japanese-Canadian Twitch streamer and the content producer of 100 Thieves. She is better known by her stream name, Kyedae. The professional e-sports player TenZ is her fiancé. Kyedae first became familiar with Valorant through the streams of her ex-boyfriend TenZ, and it was there that she learned how to play the game. As she improved her skills in the game, she began broadcasting her gameplay on her own.

Eventually, she connected with other players, including those from Offline TV and Friends, and began to build her own audience. Kyedae’s mother is of Japanese descent, while her Ukrainian-Canadian father was born in Canada. Sakura, her younger sister, is also a streamer and competes in the same competitions that she does.

In high school, when they both were students, she was introduced to TenZ for the first time. After getting to know each other better at a party, they decided to pursue a romantic connection. Kyedae was initially presented to viewers during one of TenZ’s broadcasts. During this stream, TenZ instructed Kyedae on how to play Valorant, a game in which TenZ plays professionally.

Kyedae, however, did not appear on the stream because she was still uncomfortable in front of the camera. She did, however, end up revealing her face at some point during further streams with TenZ, before she was urged to start her own streaming channel. The first time she streamed by herself was on October 31, 2020, and she did it on TenZ’s PC. She was streaming alone.
