Matt Vasgersian Bio, Life and Career:

Matthew Edward “Matt” Vasgersian is a well-known television personality and sportscaster in the United States. He was born on September 28, 1967. At present, Vasgersian is working as a studio host for the MLB Network in addition to his role as a play-by-play announcer for Fox Sports’ coverage of Major League Baseball. In the past, he has worked as an announcer for NBC Sports’ coverage of the Olympic Games and Fox Sports’ coverage of the National Football League. His previous employers were the Milwaukee Brewers and the San Diego Padres, where he served as the play-by-play announcer.

As a kid, Vasgersian began his career in the entertainment industry as an actor. At the age of seven, he became a member of the Screen Actors Guild and acted in an episode of The Streets of San Francisco and the movie The Candidate, which was primarily shot in Berkeley, California. The Candidate starred Robert Redford. Vasgersian is of Armenian heritage and was born in Oakland, California.
