Nicholas James Mullen is a stand-up comedian, podcaster, and comedy writer who was born in the United States of America on December 13, 1988. Since 2005, he has been active in the field of comedy, and he is best known for his roles as creator and co-host of the comedy podcast Cum Town (2016–2022) and its successor The Adam Friedland Show (2022–present). His comedic style is characterized by irony, observation, and self-deprecation, and he frequently centers his material on internet culture. When he was a teenager, he started performing stand-up comedy in the Washington-Baltimore Metropolitan Area, most frequently at the Wiseacres Comedy Club in Virginia.

He is originally from Montgomery County, Maryland. The string of jobs in the service industry that he held during this time period provides the source material for many of his comedic anecdotes.
