Aaron Paul is a well-known American actor and producer. He was born Aaron Paul Sturtevant on August 27, 1979, in the United States. He is best recognized for his role as Jesse Pinkman in the AMC series Breaking Bad (2008–2013), for which he won a number of awards, including the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (2014), the Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actor – Series, Miniseries, or Television Film (2013), and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

He played the part of Jesse Pinkman once more in the Netflix film El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie in 2019, six years after the end of the original series, and he did so once more in the last season of the spin-off series Better Call Saul in 2022, for which he received additional critical acclaim.
Paul got his start in the entertainment industry by appearing in a few music videos, then moving on to guest-starring parts on television and supporting roles in films. In 2007, he appeared in episodes of the HBO series Big Love (2006–2011) as the recurring character of Scott Quittman, and in 2009, he starred in the adaptation of the film The Last House on the Left. After the cancellation of Breaking Bad, he went on to star in a number of movies, including Need for Speed (2014), Hellion (2014), Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014), Eye in the Sky (2015), and Central Intelligence (2016).
In addition, he portrayed Eddie Lane in the Hulu drama series The Path (2016–2018) and Caleb Nichols in the HBO science fiction drama series Westworld (2020–2022) He also provided the voice of Todd Chavez in the cartoon series BoJack Horseman (2014–2020), which aired on Netflix and for which he served as an executive producer. BoJack Horseman ran from 2014 until 2020. In the toilet of his parent’s home, he arrived one month before his due date. He spent his childhood acting in church productions. He attended Centennial High School in Boise, Idaho, and graduated there in 1997.
After graduation, he took his mother and $6,000 in savings and drove to Los Angeles in his 1982 Toyota Corolla. He has lived in Los Angeles ever since. Not long after he moved to Los Angeles, he had an appearance on an edition of the game program The Price Is Right, which was broadcast on January 3, 2000, on the CBS network. Under his true name, he competed in a pricing game, but he ended up losing, and he ended up overbidding on his Showcase. He also had a job as an usher at Universal Studios in Hollywood, which is located in California. In the year 1996, Paul participated in a competition held by the International Modeling and Talent Association in Los Angeles. He came in second place and then signed a contract with a manager.
Both the music video for the song “Thoughtless” by Korn and the music video for the song “White Trash Beautiful” by Everlast featured him in starring roles. In the Funny or Die short titled Weird: The Al Yankovic Story (2010), he played the role of “Weird Al” Yankovic. He has also appeared as a guest star on television shows such as The Guardian, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, ER, Sleeper Cell, Veronica Mars, The X-Files, Ghost Whisperer, Criminal Minds, and Bones. Paul first gained widespread recognition for his performance as Scott Quittman on the HBO series Big Love, in which he made a total of fourteen appearances.
It was in 2008 when he first appeared on the AMC series Breaking Bad portraying the role of Jesse Pinkman. After viewing the rapport between Paul and the lead actor Bryan Cranston, series creator Vince Gilligan changed his mind and amended the original plans to include Jesse as a prominent character. Originally, his character was supposed to die after the first season of the show. Paul was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2014 for his performance as Mike Ehrmantraut on the series Breaking Bad; he ultimately won the award in 2010.
