Amaarae Bio, Life, and Career:

Ama Serwah Genfi, better known by her stage name Amaarae, is a Ghanaian singer who is most known for her efforts in the realm of gender and racial representation in the music industry. Her debut extended play, titled Passionfruit Summers was published the following year in 2017, following a number of collaborations with regional musicians and the release of a few songs that were not part of an album.

On Amaarae’s debut album, titled The Angel You Don’t Know, which was published in 2020, the song “Sad Girlz Luv Money” featuring Moliy was included. The song was reworked in 2021 to include a feature from Kali Uchis, and it quickly rose to the top of the charts across the world, as well as social media platforms and streaming services.
