Anderson Hays Cooper is an American broadcast journalist and political analyst. He was born on June 3, 1967, and he is presently the anchor of the news broadcast show Anderson Cooper 360° that airs on CNN. In addition to his responsibilities at CNN, Cooper is a correspondent for the program 60 Minutes which airs on CBS News. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University in 1989, he began his career as a war correspondent by touring the world and filming footage of conflict zones for Channel One News.
