Blackbear Bio, Life, and Career:

Blackbear, whose real name is Matthew Tyler Musto and who was born on November 27, 1990, is a professional name used by an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer who goes by the name Blackbear. He has published one mixtape, six EPs, one full-length album, and two collaborative albums in addition to six studio albums. Musto and Mike Posner, a vocalist, and songwriter respectively, are the other members of the alternative hip-hop group Mansionz.

Musto was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, but when he was a child his family relocated to Palm Coast. His Italian ancestry comes from his father. He has mentioned that a significant number of his relatives hail from the city of Pittston in Pennsylvania. In the fourth grade, he discovered bands like Rancid, Blink-182, and others that his babysitter exposed him to, such as New Found Glory and Alkaline Trio.

This sparked his interest in music. Musto was the lead singer of the Florida-based rock band Polaroid when he was still in high school.
