Christopher Larkin Bio, Life and Career:

Christopher Larkin was born on October 2nd, 1987 in the city of Daegu in the South Korean province of South Korea. His adoptive parents are of Irish and French-Canadian origin, and they took him in when he was just four months old. He spent his childhood in the town of Hebron in Connecticut. In the year 2000, Larkin was given the role of the main protagonist in The Flamingo Rising, which was produced by Hallmark Entertainment and directed by Martha Coolidge.

Following that, he received his education at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts before enrolling in the drama program at Fordham College at Lincoln Center. In the middle of his sophomore year, he made his debut in the professional theatrical world in the production of Back From the Front that was held off-Broadway. Before he was awarded his diploma, he skipped the fall semester of his senior year in order to perform the role of the main character in Kafka on the Shore at Steppenwolf Theater in Chicago.

Shortly after arriving to Los Angeles, Christopher was offered a recurring role on the television show The 100, which is shown on The CW. He played the role of Monty Green for a total of five seasons on the show. The upcoming season of ‘Tales of the City’ on Netflix will be his next opportunity to be seen in the role of Jonathan ‘Raven’ Winter.
Christopher Larkin and his friend Wade Allain-Marcus established the band d’Artagnon the following year (2011).

A-side is the sole studio album that D’Artagnon has made available to the public. Their song “Confession,” which can be found on this album, was used in episode 2×06 of the show “The 100,” and they also won the 2012 Red Bull Soundstage Competition with it. Additionally, it can be found on the soundtrack of the film We Made This Movie. In recent years, Larkin has been releasing songs under the alias Carry Hatchet.

On September 29, 2015, he issued his first album under his own label, titled The News Today. His second studio album, titled The Happiest Album Ever Made, was made available for purchase on November 13, 2017, and the singles “Julien” and “Grey Blues” were made available for purchase ahead of time. In addition to it, he distributed a music video for the song “Grey Blues.” On May 4, 2021, he released his third studio album, titled “Jayne Schmayne.”

The songs “Round and Round,” “Theo,” and “Only a Fool” were taken from that album and made available early on as singles, each of which was accompanied by a music video. According to him, the adjustment was challenging at first. My preconceived assumption was that working in cinema was very different from working in the theater, but I later learned otherwise. Although they are unquestionably distinct forms of expression, I’ve discovered that there are many more parallels between them than there are differences.

Because “The 100” is a high-tension drama, the stakes are typically exceedingly high in each episode. Your goals and the strategies that stem from them need to be front and center at all times. I used to feel that being understated in front of the camera would be the most effective approach; however, I now believe that taking risks and pulling out all the stops will lead to a performance that is significantly more authentic and diverse. Over the course of the past three years, my partner and I have been working together to create a play.

To this point, I am very certain that there have been a total of seven workshops held. We have gone all around the United States in an effort to secure a production, and it will eventually be staged somewhere during the spring of 2019. The title of the play is “Nomad Motel,” and it will have its first preview performance at the city theater in Pittsburgh on May 12, 2018. Bringing this universe to life is something I’m looking forward to doing very much. I have high hopes that I would be leading a life that is much more charitable.

One of the things that has been bothering me the most as of late is the realization that I have led a pretty self-centered life up to this point. I have never contributed anything of value to this planet in any way, shape, or form. This is something that bothers me on a regular basis, and I’m hoping to find a solution to it as quickly as I can. I’m in the process of putting the finishing touches on an album that I’m calling “the happiest album ever made.” It was intended to be published in November of last year, but I made a last-minute choice to work with a producer and engineer who actually understands what they’re doing, so we had to push back the release date.

As a result, I boarded a flight to New York City and began the recording process all over again. It’s been a very educational experience overall. At the end of the day, all I can do is hope that it strikes a chord with some people who aren’t already familiar with my surname. Attempting to imitate the style of Elliott Smith. Attempting to imitate Nick Drake’s style. I’m going for a sound that’s somewhere between the lyricism of Leonard Cohen and the sensibility of Sufjan Stevens. The realization that these models are not only unhealthy but also exceedingly unrealistic midway through the process Then I will take what I’ve learned from these icons and use it to develop a voice that is uniquely mine.
