Harrysong Bio, Life, and Career:

Harrison Tare Okiri is a Nigerian singer, composer, and instrumentalist who is better known by his stage name Harrysong. He gained to recognition after his tribute song to Nelson Mandela won the “Most Downloaded Callertune Award” at The Headies in 2013. Harrysong was born in Warri, which is located in Delta State, Nigeria, to Ijaw’s parents. But, in 2007, after spending a portion of his childhood in Port Harcourt, he relocated to Lagos. Harrysong used to play at nightclubs before he met Kcee, who then introduced him to prominent figures in the music industry. After that, he signed a contract with QuestionMark Entertainment.

After the release of his single “Beta Pikin,” which reached number one on the charts, Harrysong was considered a candidate for the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards in the category of “Best Pop/R&B Artist of the Year.” At Warri, Delta State, Harrysong was the sole child of his Ijaw parents at the time of his birth.
