John Adedayo Adegboyega, best known by his stage name John Boyega, is a British actor and producer who rose to notoriety in 2011 for his role as Moses in the comedy film ‘Attack the Block.’ He is also a producer. He is most recognised for his portrayal as Finn in the Star Wars film ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens,’ which was the seventh instalment in the series and the seventh film overall. In 2010, he made his professional stage debut in the title role of Shakespeare’s ‘Othello.

He formed his own production business and appeared in several films and television series in order to develop a reputation for himself. His next stop was the University of Greenwich, where he enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies and Media Writing programme, but dropped out to pursue his own acting career.
