John Michael Green is a well-known American author, YouTube video developer, podcaster, and philanthropist. He was born on August 24, 1977, in the United States. More than 50 million copies of his books have been printed all over the world, and one of them, “The Fault in Our Stars” (2012), is one of the books that has ever had the highest number of copies sold. Green’s meteoric ascent to stardom and distinctive writing style is often credited with bringing about a significant shift in the market for young adult novels. Green spent his childhood in Orlando, Florida, before moving to a boarding school just outside of Birmingham, Alabama, from where he graduated in 1995. Green was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000 from Kenyon College, where he double majored in English and religious studies. After that, Green served as a student chaplain in a children’s hospital for a period of six months.
