Mike Tomlin birth in 15 March 1972 (age 51 years), Hampton, Virginia, United States. He is the offspring of Julia Tomlin and Ed Tomlin, his parents. Tomlin and Eddie Tomlin are related via their parents. Eddie is Tomlin’s brother. Tomlin received his certificate in 1990 from Denbigh High School in Newport News, Virginia. Following the conclusion of his academic career at the College of William and Mary, he became a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. He was chosen for the second team as a wide receiver in the Yankee Conference during the 1994 season.

In 1995, he began his career as a coach at Virginia Military Institute, where his first position was as Bill Stewart’s wide receiver coach. During the 1996 season, Tomlin was a graduate assistant at the University of Memphis, where he worked mainly with the defensive backs and the special teams.
