Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, who was born on June 14, 2002, and is better known by her stage name, Ayra Starr, is a Nigerian singer who was born in Benin. Before deciding to pursue a career in music, she started her career in the fashion industry at the age of 16 by signing with Quove Model Management. After posting multiple covers of songs by well-known artists on Instagram, she finally published the first original song under her own name in December 2019. Due to the fact that she was brought to his attention as a result of this, record executive Don Jazzy offered her a recording contract with his recordMavin Records.
