Mur Lafferty Bio, Life, and Career:

Mur Lafferty is a podcaster and writer from the United States who currently resides in Durham, North Carolina. He was born on July 25, 1973. From the year 2010, when she succeeded Steve Eley as the editor of Escape Pod, until the year 2012 when Norm Sherman took over for her as the show’s host, she served in both of those capacities. In addition to that, she is the host as well as the creator of the podcast titled “I Should Be Writing.” She held the roles of host and co-editor of Pseudopod up until July 2007.

Until the publication of the short fiction magazine Mothership Zeta by Escape Artists went on hiatus in 2016, she served as the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief. Lafferty received his degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he also completed his education.
