Lee Camp is an American author, comedian, podcaster, news journalist, and news commentator. He was born on July 21, 1980, in the United States. In his role as a television host, he was responsible for presenting the program Redacted Tonight on the network RT America for a number of years before the network’s closure in March 2022. Most Censored News with Lee Camp debuted on MintPress News in July 2022, the same month that he launched his new show. Camp’s mother, Laurie Smith Camp, was a federal judge, and he was born in the city of Richmond, Virginia, and remained a resident of Bethesda, Maryland right up until the year 1989.

His mother is a social worker, and his father is a psychotherapist who served for 20 years as a doctor in the United States military. He is the only child of this couple. Camp’s family relocated to Richmond, Virginia in 1989, and he remained there until he enrolled in the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, also located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. At the University of Virginia, he triumphed over his peers in a contest to be selected as the comedy writer for the student newspaper known as The Cavalier Daily.
